Cassandra Barr is our Massage therapist at our Yale site. She has been a practicing Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) since 2003 and received her certification in Massage Therapy in 2009. She is versed in all massage and bodywork techniques. Her targeted therapeutic techniques aid in restoration of normal muscle function resulting in:

Kathy's practice specializes in relief of pain and dysfunction due to activity, sports, repetitive use, and stress, including management of acute and chronic conditions such as back pain, cervical pain, sports injuries, and fibromyalgia.
Essential Touch Therapeutic Massage sessions utilize a variety of assessment and bodywork techniques: deep tissue massage, myofascial release, nerve mobilization, facilitated stretching, muscle energy techniques, and sports massage.
Targeted therapeutic techniques aid in restoration of normal muscle function resulting in decreased soreness and stiffness, improved posture, increased joint range of motion and flexibility, and enhanced muscle function and performance.
Reflexology is also available for balancing the body's natural healing energies and promoting normal function of internal organs and body structures.
